Health Score

cloud-audit calculates a health score from 0 to 100 based on scan findings.

Scoring

Starts at 100 and decreases per finding:

Severity Points Deducted
Critical -20
High -10
Medium -5
Low -2

The score floors at 0 (cannot go negative).

Interpretation

Score Status
80-100 Good - minor improvements recommended
50-79 Needs attention - significant gaps
0-49 Requires immediate action - critical exposure

Risk Exposure

When breach cost estimation is enabled (default), the health score panel includes a total risk exposure range in USD:

In Reports

The health score appears in all output formats:

  • Terminal - Rich panel at the top of scan output
  • HTML - Visual score ring with color coding
  • JSON - summary.score field
  • Markdown - Score in the report header
